About Elixir Pharmacy

We are an independent community Pharmacy in Calgary, AB, offering free city-wide prescription delivery. We threw open our doors in October 2018 and had been flourishing thanks to local support ever since.

As Prescribing Pharmacists, we provide prescription renewals, refills, and transfers. We also offer comprehensive pharmacy services, including dispensing over-the-counter medicines, compliance blister packaging, vaccinations, compression stockings, and compound prescriptions.

We deliver prescriptions across Calgary northwest and the surrounding areas from our pharmacy in Varsity Estate Circle. Our operating hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, and 10 am to 3 pm on Saturdays.

The Elixir Pharmacy Difference

One aspect that makes us second to none is our professional customer service, as our friendly pharmacists treat patients with respect and take the time to understand their needs. It includes conducting medication reviews and providing advice as a diabetic educator.

What also sets us apart is that we care about the quality of our service, not the quantity. Therefore, we strive to render a personalized service, where we even know our customers’ families and their pets. Our compassionate approach has made us successful.

One of our most noteworthy achievements has been starting up an independent pharmacy and surviving during the pandemic. We couldn’t have done it without the patronage of our community. Therefore, we want to continuously improve our service for them by staying up to date with the latest tools and technologies.

While we are passionate about what we do, we also care about protecting the planet. Therefore, we use Eco-friendly recyclable vials for filling medication. We’re also switching over from plastic to paper bags (80% of our usage is paper). In addition, we offer a take-back program that empowers customers to dispose of expired and unused medication in a responsible manner that’s safe for the environment.
